okay i dunno where to start. XD i need a little help though,what lens do you use?i still have the kit lens with me and i'm a little not satisfied with it but contented.hehe..i want a little of bokeh effect.

I'm using the 55mm lens which is free when you buy a DSLR :]..

if you want to be a sport photographer or a photojournalist (news photographer), you must have longer lens:] (e.g. telephoto lens)

what is your dslr?errm i've been keeping an eye on the 35MM F/1.8G by nikon.

those longer lenses are highly expensive
do you have a zoom lens with lower aperture like f/2?

that is my first choice. a nikon d40 but all sold out here last boxing day. i ended up with the d60 together with the kit lens 18-55mm.

What flash do you have?

built-in flash hehehe. i might not buy any flash e. what i wanted is a mini tripod,wireless remote and lens. :)
i do editing for contrast,sharpness and temperature of the photo sa picnik.

but kung mageedit ako usually cross-process tska duo-tone. syempre 3 of us will be the judges hehe..hindi na tayo kasali.

anyway ipapaalam ko sa isa sa mga moderators kung ok lang.

mas mahirap kumuha ng photos dito unlike dyan kasi dito pwde kang i-sue ng mga tao. pati sa mga private properties ampf..trespassing. hirap magshoot lalo na sa public.

anyways be contented kna muna sa kit lens ng D60 mo bro :D aus na yan. gamit ko 18-55mm VR lens. prang kit lens den pero with Vibration Reduction technology.

kung gs2 mo ng bokeh effect try mo ung sa metering and set mo sa. center weighted =] tas magfocus ka lng sa isang subject and click. dpat magkakaroon ka ng bokeh effect. well for sure alam mo na yan? >.<

hehe dkc ako gnun ka galing sa photography so correct me if im wrong >.<

also dpat nka autofocus ung lens mo. nka set sa AF. minamaster ko pa ung Manual focussing >.<

(bad news) - accidentally nagkascratch ung internal finder ko >.< pinunasan ko ng damit ko tpos nagscratch ung tela >.< badtrip. pero okay pden nman may scratch lng sa view finder. problem is nkaka annoy kpag sisilip ka sa finder and may dumi onti >.<

anyone knows magkano mag palinis or magpaaus ng finder sa official repair ng Nikon D40x ?


BTW, about sa built in flash. may certain technics ako kung panu gmitin ung builtin flash ng dslr xD haha for example takpan mo ng kamay ung flash. dpende sa pagkatakip ng kamay mo. ung effect minsan magbobounce ung flash sa ceiling... etc..etc..

try nyo. experiment lng ng experiment ^^.

also try getting a 50mm Nikor lens. ung skin galing sa D300 ni dad. dsya nagaauto focus sa D40 and D40x pero sa D60 magfocus un. bali manual focussing sa D40 and D40x. worth buying/trying un ^^ mageenjoy kau :D

i also want a mini tripod -___- meron kmi d2 3 tripods kso prehas lng cla ng size. i mean ung tlgang tripods na gnagmit sa mga photo shoots.

wireless remote ko nman dko magamit kc dko alam kung san situation ko gagamitin. =/

nag eedit den ako ng photographs ko. crop processing den and color tones. wla nmang kaso mag edit ng photographs. wag lng sosobra, may mga photographers kc na sumosobra ung pagedit, inaabuso na lhat knocorrect na. (meaning failed photograph ung inedit nya)

@Glen anung cheap DSLR? mhal na ung D40 nu! XD entry level yan na DSLR kya khit Entry level lng (pang amateur) mgaganda mga kuha nyan.

nice. and yes madali lng nman makita kung edited eh. obvious most of the time. pero ung iba kpag color tone, contrast,etc.. minsan dna papansin.

hmm friends? haha wla akong friends na dSLR users. i mean most of them nsa DA so i dont think that they will have the time sa forums. mostly kc sa DA or sa flickR lng cla.

and anung panget? kung panget D40 mo panget den D40X ko? lol you should be thankful na mayroon kang Entry Level na dSLR, pang Amateur Professional yan! =P
