A very stable hero setup with ample 5v5 potential:
Spectre/Nevermore/Luna, Lich (warlock), Tide/Enigma/Roof, Tide/puck (dynamic), highly dynamic.
Dynamic picks would usually be either to counter opponent picks and/or to incorporate much higher 5v5 potential, make a trilane, get a strong gang game going or jungle a hero for a faster xp/item buildup.
Sample variations:
5v5: Witch doctor and Magnataur (and Venomancer)
Gang: Omni and Pudge
Trilane: Zeus and Pugna (Leshrac)
Other picks (some odd picks to get past a uncomfortable ban and/or as a surprise/for fun:
Venomancer, Earthshaker, Crixalis, Crystal maiden, Geomancer, Tinker, Kunkka, Jakiro, Tiny, Beastmaster, Lucifer, Akasha, Void, Razor, Obsidian destroyer, Pit lord, Dark seer, Ezalor, Undying, Krobelus and Phantom lancer.
As far as bans go.
Omniknight and Chen can be very bad against you.
Standard 5v5 picks are also very bad to "give away".
Other than that good gangers and the usual "annoying to meet" heroes aswell as strong lategame heroes that likes BKB or other ways of magic immune.
If you feel like getting deep in picking psychology, allow the opponent team to get a stable carry. But make sure YOU choose it for them.
(Dont forget to really show the opponents that you go to roshan if you have a hard time getting to those 5v5s)
